Her meticulous, tenacious and knowledgeable approach ensures that clients and subcontractors get solid, predictable execution of contract responsibilities with accurate and timely reporting. In addition, by combining detailed research and documentation of contract issues with honest and forthright communications, she creates an atmosphere of mutual respect and integrity that allows her to resolve thorny contractual problems, while avoiding acrimonious misunderstandings and costly litigation.

 

Expertise

Backed by 24 years of contract management experience, Andrea combines a strong academic background with exceptional government contract expertise to provide failsafe contract compliance that results in cooperative and mutually beneficial relationships.

 

Prior to joining EMCOR, she held increasingly more challenging positions with Ogden Services Corporation and the Charles E. Smith Companies. The result is a broad understanding of business and accounting systems, as well as a pragmatic approach to problem solving that frequently leads EMCOR teams and their clients to rely on her for fair resolution of difficult situations.

 

Andrea holds bachelor's and associate degrees from the University of Maryland's University College and Strayer College, respectively, as well as a master's certificate in government contracts from George Washington University's School of Business and Public Administration. She is a member of the National Contracts Management Association (NCMA).

 

The Personal Side

Andrea and her husband have a son, who is a student at Drexel University, and a daughter, who attends Grace Christian School. The family is actively involved in church and community activities.
